18 May IOC President congratulates Aya Medani
Olympic President Thomas Bach congratulates Egyptian former pentathlete Aya Medani on lending her image and sharing her inspirational story for the IOC digital campaign for the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace. In a Letter of Congratulations sent on May 13rd, Mr Bach stated: “Your story, showcasing how sport can contribute to women empowerment truly demonstrated how sport can contribute to a better world.”
